If you are one hell gamer - I suggest you to use AMD.

ang Intel, hindi agad siya nag-ooverheat, pero ung AMD sira/patay agad pag nag overheat.

meron naman technology ang intel na tinatawag nating SpeedStep. ano ba yung SpeedStep?

for example, on my Intel Q6600, ang default clock nito ay 2.4ghz. kapag nag enable ka ng EIST or SpeedStep sa BIOS. magiging 1.6ghz ang speed ng processor kapag idle or di kaya ay minimal usage lang like chatting, surfing and word documenting. tumataas ng kusa ang frequency depende sa application na binubuksan mo, halimbawa nag lalaro ka ng mabigat na games like Crysis, tsaka ilalabas ng processr mo yung tunay na speed nya na 2.4ghz. tsaka lalo na ngayon lumabas na yung mga processor ng Intel na
Wolfdale which is 45nm. Kentsfield and Conroe is still 65nm, medyo malakas pa rin sa kuryente.
