Who's got Windows XP SP3??? -

they said its got tons of updates and if you have a hi-speed internet, you can download it easily from windows update.
The question is have you tried it??
Most said it is faster than before...

na try ko na pero inalis ko ulit. hehehe... hindi na gumagana yung StyleXP ko dahil hindi na compatible sa version. :P actually wala naman nabago. maybe on the security lang ulit.

yah, maybe because of "Black hole" router detection algorithm. Where XP gains the ability to ignore network routers that incorrectly drop certain kinds of network packets. Which is, too, is a feature of Windows Vista.
Nonetheless, SP3 has quite a few minor upgrades but will not include major upgrades... In fact, some of the features are actually removed...

and necrolyte's right... Some of the application requires SP2 only... there might be issues in terms of compatibility; maybe, unless, you did an upgrade from sp2 to sp3... but i doubt it... anyway, haven't tried it...
ung Black Hole lang naman ung nagugustuhan ko sa sp3 eh, which can be easily tweaked in sp2...

I updated mine from SP2 as well, since it is OEM, I had easily changed it to SP3 without cracking or whatsoever to bypass the validation process. yun nga lang, there's no other way to get it back to SP2 if want to, unless you will reformat your system.

so it's confirmed bro na hindi compatible ang ilang apps w/c only requires SP2? i see...

on my understanding, yung ibang mga 3rd party software lang ang pwedeng hindi gumana lalo na yung mga tweaks ng WindowsXP. kaya siguro hindi na gumana yung StyleXP ko, nag re-require na ng bagong version, nagpunta ako sa site mismo nila eh wala naman bagong version. |

the PC i use at work previously was on SP2 ... then the IT Ops peeps updated all PCs running XP SP2 to SP3 ...
so far i havent noticed any difference at all ...

SP3 here also on my Win XP Home Edition,
so far running ok, walang gaanong noticeable difference.
